Oprah’s Favorite Things Are Insane

I hate to say it, but I think Oprah has lost her mind.

Her recent holiday-themed partnership with Amazon.com seems perfectly normal – she slaps her face (and alleged approval) on a list of “Favorite Things” for sale on Amazon, and both entities profit. But there’s something about this whole promotion that seems a bit off. Maybe it’s her gigantic, perfect grin looming over the sale page. Maybe it’s that half the items on her list are made from human sinew. Or maybe it’s just that Oprah’s words of wisdom have gotten a little strange over the years.

Oprah’s quotes, nestled by her side in the header image on the sale page, change every time you refresh the page. Here are some examples of the madness:
